It is owned by the Mesquita Dias family (Rosário, Luís, and their sons Luís Pedro and João Luís). Quinta do Pé da Charca, with its modern elegance and visual harmony with the surrounding landscape, is surrounded—on a modest scale—by examples of the agricultural legacy that gave rise to the estate.
One hectare of olive grove, a small vineyard, a fruit orchard, and a patch of centuries-old holm oaks and cork oaks overlooking the pond that gives the estate its name, bring to the present day a glimpse of the history on which the Quinta is founded.
